Here’s How Princess Victoria of Sweden Spent Her 43rd Birthday

Princess Victoria of Sweden isn’t letting the current pandemic ruin her 43rd birthday. This year, the Crown Princess enjoyed a mini celebration involving a few close family members.

According to People, Victoria usually spends the milestone by greeting members of the public and taking a carriage ride to the nearby Borgholm Castle for a concert surrounded by family and friends. However, this year, the big day consisted of a family photoshoot with her husband, Prince Daniel, and kids, Princess Estelle, 8, and Prince Oscar, 4, in the garden of the summer palace Solliden. At one point, they were also joined by the future queen’s brother, Prince Carl Philip and his wife, Princess Sofia

Luckily, the small group was still able to attend the annual concert but had to abide by the social distancing guidelines, of course.

“Tonight, a televised concert was held from Borgholm's castle ruins on the occasion of the Crown Princess's birthday,” the royal family captioned an Instagram slideshow from the event. “In place to listen to the various musical performances were the Crown Princess, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle and @Prinsparet together with this year's Victoria laureates.” Yes, we used an online translater.

For the occasion, the mother of two looked stunning in a tiered, long-sleeve white dress paired with brown wedge sandals (we guess wedges are permitted by the Swedish royal family). She topped off her look with her hair tied back in a low bun.

Happy birthday, Victoria!
