Summer's almost over, and while we *totally* won't judge you for drinking rosé all year long (YGG), we're ready for a bit of a change just in time for fall.
Sure, cozying up in a turtleneck sweater with a glass of red wine sounds ideal, but what if you want something a little lighter to sip on for football game days, a leaf-peeping picnic on a perfectly crisp autumn afternoon or around a campfire while bundled in blankets (can you tell we live for fall?!). The answer: Wölffer Estate's new Red Cider no. 139.
Besides the artfully decorated (read: totally 'Grammable) glass bottles, the cider is "lightly sparkling and beautifully aromatic" and "combines the fruit aromas of red wine with the crispness of Wolffer's rosé and white ciders," according to the New York vineyard's website. With notes of raspberries, blackberries and blackcurrants, it's food friendly and pairs perfectly with everything from soft cheese to S'mores.
See? We've got all the in-cider information. (And all the puns.)
