We’re only hours away from Joe Biden being sworn in as the 46th President of the United States (and Kamala Harris as the VP). And while the actual ceremony will be taking place during the day on Wednesday, January 20, a special celebration is scheduled to happen tonight.

Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, attendance is being limited for today’s monumental event. However, major government figures, as well as special celebrity guests (we’re talking Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and former presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton) will all be in attendance at the inauguration. And in lieu of a nighttime gala, an additional TV event will be taking place later this evening.

Called Celebrating America, the special will be hosted by Tom Hanks. Airing across ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, and MSNBC, the special will highlight “American heroes who are helping their fellow Americans through this crisis, including frontline workers, health care workers, teachers, citizens giving back, and those who are breaking barriers.”

While the program will include statements from both Biden and Harris, it will also feature a variety of special performances by Tim McGraw and Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard, Justin TimberlakeDemi Lovato, Katy Perry, John Legend, Foo Fighters, Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi and Ant Clemons. According to Entertainment Tonight, more guests will be announced throughout the day.

The 90-minute primetime TV special will begin at 8:30 p.m ET. It will also be streamed live on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, Amazon Prime Video, Microsoft Bing, NewsNOW, DirectTV and U-verse.

We’ll be there.
