Tamera Mowry-Housley Dishes on the ‘Sister, Sister' Reboot: ‘Timing Is Everything'
Sister, Sister, we’ve missed ya. So imagine our delight when we spoke with Tamera Mowry-Housley herself about the show’s potential reboot and asked once and for all: Is it happening?
Mowry-Housley chatted with PureWow about the Sister, Sister revival in conjunction with her Febreze ONE partnership.
The Real host revealed, “Well, I mean, it’s not happening, like, right now. I think that’s what Jackée [Harry] was saying. We still have some things that need to be put in place. But timing is everything, and everyone needs to be on the same page. But I am down for it, and eventually, hopefully, it will happen.” We’re putting it into the universe, Tamera.
As for the Harry comment, Mowry-Housley is of course referencing her former costar’s mind-blowing proclamation that the Sister, Sister cast is reuniting for a revival.
Harry, who plays Tia Mowry’s mother (Lisa Landry) on the series, visited the Steve Harvey show in January and said, “Yeah, it’s happening. I’m excited. Tia and Tamera [Mowry]…my babies too. They won’t leave me alone. I can’t get rid of none of these women!”
While the revival isn’t right around the corner, Mowry-Housley herself did hint that the sisters would be married with children in the spin-off series.
Um, does anyone else feel like Roger (Marques Houston) is the one preventing this show from getting on the road? JK, Marques...kind of.
