Netflix Drops ‘Stranger Things’ Season 3 Trailer and OMG, They’re Not Kids Anymore

Get ready because Netflix just released a brand-new trailer for season three of Stranger Thingsand the whole gang is back—but this time, they’re teenagers.

While last season took place during Halloween, now it’s summer 1985 and the town of Hawkins, Indiana, is gearing up for the annual Fourth of July celebrations (which is also when you can stream season three of the hit show on Netflix).

Set to the backdrop of The Who song Baba O’Riley, the clip opens up with Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Max (Sadie Sink), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Will (Noah Schnapp) throwing Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) a surprise welcome home party. But things don’t quite go as planned.

Watch the trailer below:

“We’re not kids anymore,” says Mike. “I mean, what did you think, we’re just gonna sit in my basement all day and play games for the rest of our lives?” Yep, the teenage angst is real.

But while there may be no more joking around in the basement this time, it looks like season three will still have its fair share of dangers and monsters (what was that thing?).

And the best part? The Dustin/Steve bromance looks as strong as ever. Bring on July Fourth.
