Behold! The Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer is here.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Star Wars franchise, Lucasfilm released a cryptic premiere trailer for the next chapter of the saga, Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The franchise made a comeback in 2015 with the first film of the galactic sequel trilogy, The Force Awakens. This installment introduced viewers to Rey—a badass Jedi-in-training and possible relative of Luke Skywalker—and The Last Jedi, or Episode VIII, will resume where The Force Awakens left us hanging.

While the film is likely to have just as much energy and action as its predecessors, the trailer doesn’t give too much of the storyline away. But what we do know is much of the action appears to take place on Ahch-To, the aquatic planet Rey stumbles upon at the end of The Force Awakens (aka Luke Skywalker’s home turf). And the mentor-trainee relationship between this duo will likely transform into an unstoppable Force.

Although The Force Awakens is a tough act to follow—it’s ranked as the third highest-grossing film behind two James Cameron classics, Titanic and AvatarThe Last Jedi is expected to be one of the most popular films of 2017. Duh.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres December 15, 2017. In the words of Luke Skywalker, “It’s time for the Jedi to end.”
