Sophie Tuner and Joe Jonas’s Las Vegas wedding was officiated by an Elvis impersonator and captured on social media by Diplo. But for their second wedding, which took place this past weekend in France, the 23-year-old Game of Thrones star and 29-year-old singer took a more meaningful approach.
The couple wed in front of family and friends in an intimate and reportedly emotional ceremony at Château Martinay in Carpentras last Saturday. And although they technically became man and wife last month, Turner and Jonas were moved to tears during their more traditional nuptials.
E! News reported, “Joe and Sophie both teared up while reading their vows. Everyone stood and cheered, and they had huge smiles as they left as a couple. It was an emotional ceremony.”
It’s natural for some tears to be shed on such a momentous day, but this sliver of news is even more exciting given that most details of the couple’s wedding day have remained private…at least for now.
