‘Bridgerton’ Star Simone Ashley Rocks Black Cutout Dress on Instagram

As a newcomer on the second season of Bridgerton, Simone Ashley blew us away with her performance, as well as the gorgeous, period piece fashion that she wore on the series. But, as her new Instagram post proves, the 27-year-old actress can rock a modern look just as well as a Regency era one.

Ashley shared a series of photos to her Instagram that were snapped by her hairstylist, Peter Lux. In the photos, the Bridgerton star dons a black, ribbed, form-fitting dress with cutouts on the sides and the back of the legs. Ashley captioned the slideshow with a sun emoji, while tagging Lux, her makeup artist, Pati Dubroff, and her stylist, Rebecca Corbin-Murray.

The black crew-neck midi dress was pulled from the Et Ochs Pre-Fall 2022 Collection, which can be seen here. Her stylist paired the knit design with sets of silver hoop earrings, and Ashley was seen sporting eye shadow with a hint of green, while rocking a curly ’do.

Fellow celebs loved these surprise shots, like Lilly Singh, who commented, “Yes queeen.” Actress Sara Waisglass wrote, “BEYOND!!!!!!” while Halle Bailey left a series of heart-eyed emojis in the comments. Meanwhile, the official Netflix Golden account wrote, “The moment. The blueprint. The light of our lives!”

Ashley took another set of photos that were seemingly from the same shoot, which Lux shared to his own Instagram. In this caption, he said, “My curly queen @simoneasshley for @bridgertonnetflix press,” and the pics showed Ashley sporting a cream, spaghetti-strap top with twisted fabric in the middle.
