As so many working mothers know, it’s not easy pumping at work. But leave it to Serena Williams to up the ante when it comes to emptying her boobs on the job.
In an interview with InStyle for their August 2018 issue, Serena shares her efforts to continue to breastfeed daughter Olympia (who’s now nine months) pre-tennis match.
Her routine? Before she hops on the tennis court to do things like win her first Grand Slam match post-baby, she does what all breastfeeding mothers have to do: She pumps. “I’m in the locker room pumping before a match because my boobs are so big. When I pump, they go down a size or two and I go out and play,” she told the mag.
Hey, wherever there’s a mini-fridge, right? Kudos to Serena for making breastfeeding so, so chill.
