It appears Scarlett Johansson may keep her status as Forbes’ highest-paid actress.
The 33-year-old just landed a $15 million payday for Marvel’s stand-alone film about the Black Widow, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Sure, it seems a bit excessive, but you should know that both Chris Evans (Captain America) and Chris Hemsworth (Thor) earned the same amount for Avengers: Infinity War. They also received a $15 million payday for Captain America: Civil War (Evans) and Thor: Ragnarok (Hemsworth), so it’s only fair.
Johansson’s raise was a long time coming, considering she played the Marvel superheroine in six different movies—The Avengers (2012), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and the upcoming Avengers 4.
Well deserved indeed.
