Sarah Jessica Parker attended the New York City Ballet Fashion Gala at Lincoln Center last night and, not surprisingly, stole the show in a frothy Giles Deacon–designed gown (yep, the same dude who made Pippa Middleton’s wedding dress).

But the ’80s meets Grace of Monaco gown wasn’t the only thing that caught our attention: SJP also recreated an iconic Sex and the City moment while leaving her home that made our nostalgic hearts flutter.

Parker was spotted walking floating down the steps of her West Village brownstone á la Carrie Bradshaw. (Ah, how could we forget all those times Carrie loitered on the steps!) Then, of course, there’s those ruby red sequined heels, which are so Carrie.

Upon her arrival at the gala, we got a proper look at her gown’s sheer mesh back with matching sleeves and an exposed zipper.

Also of note were the tiny (not at all functional) buttons and statement cuffs at the wrist.

Mr. Big, eat your heart out.
