Rumer Willis is going to be a mom!
The 34-year-old actress (and daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore) shared a photo slideshow of her growing baby bump on Instagram yesterday and announced that she’s expecting her first child with boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas.
In one of the photos, Willis and her growing belly are on full display while Thomas is kissing her stomach. As for the caption, she kept it short and sweet, simply putting a seedling emoji.
So many of her followers rushed to the comments section and sent congratulatory messages to the couple. “CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!” one person wrote. Another chimed in and said, “Rumer!!!! This is so special. I’m so happy for you guys! Congratulations,” with a bunch of red heart emojis.
Her celebrity friends also left some kind and supportive comments under the post. Breaking Bad alum Aaron Paul wrote, “I’m so happy for you my friend. Such beautiful news. Congrats!!!” Even Pitch Perfect star Brittany Snow had to show her love, writing, “Congrats beauty!!”
If that weren’t enough, her mother Demi Moore celebrated the exciting news by reposting the same photos on her own IG page and sending a very special message to the happy pair. The Ghost actress wrote in the caption, “Entering my hot kooky unhinged grandma era,” alongside the same seedling emoji her daughter used in her post.
It’s only been a month since Willis and Thomas confirmed their relationship on Instagram. In an array of photos, the couple can be seen looking all cozy while enjoying the great outdoors together. And Willis’s dog, Dolores, joined the couple on their relaxing outing.
