The royal wedding is practically here (two days, but who’s counting?). And while we love a good ceremony, everyone knows that the reception is where it’s at. But if you’re Harry and Meghan, you may be most looking forward to the after-party. Yep, the royal couple gets two post-ceremony celebrations. And while the daytime reception (hosted by the queen) will surely be lovely, the intimate evening bash is when the party starts.
Amongst swirling rumors (tiki-themed?! vodka ice luges?!), here’s everything we know about the after-party so far.
The host: Father of the groom Prince Charles will throw the fête (and generously foot the bill).
The venue: Guests will gather at Frogmore House. The quaint country house is just half a mile south of the ceremony venue, Windsor Castle.
The guest list: Unlike at the nuptial ceremony (which touts a staggering 2,640-person guest list), only 200 people were invited to the—relatively speaking—intimate affair. (Ahem, our invite must’ve gotten lost in the mail…)
The menu: Because it’s not just any wedding, fare will include South African wagyu beef (ooh, fancy), along with beer, Champagne and cocktails.
The entertainment: Prince William has a Spotify playlist. Just kidding…Harry and Meghan hired a steel drum band just for the occasion. Go big or go home.
