The Conner Clan Returns to ABC Tonight for the All-New ‘Roseanne’ Reboot

After a 20-year hiatus, the Conner clan is ready to make their highly anticipated comeback.

The Roseanne reboot premieres tonight on ABC with an hour-long special. Eight additional half-hour episodes will air on Tuesdays at 8 p.m.

Original cast members include Roseanne Barr (Roseanne), John Goodman (Dan), Laurie Metcalf (Jackie), Sara Gilbert (Darlene), Michael Fishman (D.J.) and Johnny Galecki (David). As for the two Beckys situation, actress Lecy Goranson will reprise the role, while the other Becky, Sarah Chalke, will portray Andrea, a new character who hires Becky as her surrogate.

The season nine finale of Roseanne, which aired in 1997, left us with a number of shocking revelations, including Jackie coming out of the closet, Dan dying of a heart attack and Darlene ending up with Mark instead of her longtime love, David, who ultimately falls for Becky.

But have no fear. The good news is the reboot will ignore—we repeat, ignore—Dan’s death and Darlene’s relationship switcharoo, so yeah, we’re skeptical to see how this all plays out.

The Roseanne premiere airs on ABC tonight, March 27, at 8 p.m. Welcome back, guys.
