The CW just dropped new details about season three of Riverdale, and it appears Alice and Betty Cooper’s drama is far from over.

The network just announced the third season will feature two—we repeat, two—new characters. The forthcoming episodes will introduce Edgar Evernever and his daughter, Evelyn, who shake things up for Alice (Mädchen Amick) and Betty (Lili Reinhart).

The CW hasn’t announced any casting details regarding the new characters. Nevertheless, we do know season three will further explore a number of story lines, including Betty’s dark side, Archie (KJ Apa) and Hiram’s (Mark Consuelos) rocky relationship and, of course, the Serpents.

Welcome to the “Town with Pep,” Edgar and Evelyn. Season three of Riverdale will premiere on Wednesday, October 10, on the CW.
