Rihanna knows how to put in work and these days, we're almost unsurprised when she breaks new records.
While she's known for smashing music sales and selling countless beauty products, it seems the Barbadian singer has another achievement to add to her list. And this time, it's a record that only one other musician has ever accomplished: Madonna.
While these women are so big that they don't even need to use their last names, they also know what it's like to grace the cover of high-profile magazines. Rihanna is featured on this month's cover of Vogue Italia, making her only the second musician to appear on the front of the "Big Four" Vogue magazines: American Vogue, British Vogue, Vogue Paris and Vogue Italia. She is the first non-model to achieve the milestone since Madonna did it in the ’90s.
Rihanna shared the new cover on her Instagram account, saying, “The do it yourself issue @vogueitalia. Photography & Styling: @badgalriri. Project Direction: @badgalriri & @illjahjah. Thanks to: @savagexfenty, @fentybeauty, @Jenohill, @illjahjah, @priscillaono, @ursulastephen, @stephengalloway, @kimmiekyees, @frank_terry, @spencervrooman, @EFarneti, @FerdinandoVerderi, @pg_dmcasting and @Samuel_Ellis.”
