From Big Little Lies to big little millions.
BLL stars Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman are getting a significant—like, $1 million per episode significant—pay raise in the upcoming season of HBO’s hit female-centered drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The new season two salaries are a dramatic increase from the $250,000 to $350,000 range the actresses previously earned for their portrayals of Madeline Martha Mackenzie and Celeste Wright. Oh, did we mention their $1 million per episode paychecks don’t include the pay they receive for producing the series?
The pay bump comes thanks to Witherspoon’s new untitled Apple series, which helped the Draper James founder set her per-episode fee at a cool $1.25 million, and in turn, payday got a whole lot bigger for the entire Big Little Lies cast. In addition to Witherspoon and Kidman’s very exciting news, Zoë Kravitz will now earn $3 million (an 800 percent raise) for her work in the second season.
Now the whole Big Little Lies gang can finally pull an Oprah.
