Reese Witherspoon Is Officially a ‘Jeopardy’ Category
Reese Witherspoon is an Oscar-winning actress, the executive producer and star of HBO’s Big Little Lies and, after Monday night, a bona fide Jeopardy category.
Witherspoon’s 30-year career officially became a category on the notoriously difficult trivia series, and one lucky contestant (our future BFF, Emily) knocked it out of the park with her Reese “Wit-erspoon” (sorry, had to).
A contestant named Daniel tried to kick things off in the best category ever, but ended up in the Jeopardy red for not knowing that Witherspoon played June Carter in Walk the Line. Oh, did we mention she won an Oscar for it, Daniel? *Shakes head in disappointment*
As Daniel wallowed in shame, Jeopardy superstar Emily stepped in and cleared the category. This woman really knows her Witherspoon trivia, and even host Alex Trebek was impressed. Like Witherspoon, she’s truly a woman after our own heart.
It’s not every day we can confidently answer five Jeopardy questions in a row, but hey, we know our Reese Witherspoon facts and, wow, does it feel good to win.
