Jonas, 26, proposed to Chopra on her 36th birthday in July 2018 while they were both in London. The best part? He pulled a Sweet Home Alabama and shut down the entire Tiffany’s store in NYC to select her $200,000 cushion-cut ring.
The Bridal Shower/Bachelorette Party
Back in October, the Quantico star hosted a bridal shower at Tiffany’s Blue Box Café. Celebrity guests included Kelly Ripa, Lupita Nyong’o and her mom, Madhu Chopra.
The Marriage License
Earlier this month, the couple obtained their marriage license at the Beverly Hills courthouse, so yeah, cue the wedding bells.
The Wedding Date(s)
The couple will kick off three days of wedding festivities on November 29 and will tie the knot on Saturday, December 1, according to The Sun.
The first day will feature traditional ceremonies—including a mehndi party and a Christian ceremony—where Jonas will not only perform a Bollywood dance number, but he’ll also sing a Hindi song for his 36-year-old soon-to-be wife.
On December 1, they will likely have a Christian wedding followed by traditional Hindu rituals that same day. *Crosses fingers for two dresses*
The festivities will take place at Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India, an enchanting private residence that has scenic gardens, elegant architecture and enough rooms for all their guests. NBD.
The Wedding Party
Groomsmen include Jonas’s three brothers—Kevin, Joe and Frankie—along with Chopra’s brother, Siddharth, and Jonathan Tucker (Kingdom), who received personalized E-scooters from the soon-to-be groom.
While the actress’s bridal party is still unknown, if her bachelorette party is any indication, Turner likely made the cut.
Of course, no wedding would be complete without an Amazon gift registry, which features everything from Rollerblades to a dog raincoat (yep).
