Princess Madeleine of Sweden is packing up the family jewels and taking her tiara stateside.
The Swedish royal court announced today that the princess, her husband, Christopher O’Neill, and their three children—Princess Leonore (4), Prince Nicolas (3) and Princess Adrienne (4 months)—are relocating to Florida this fall. May we be the first to welcome you to our country, oh, Swedish dignitaries.
The press release explained that the family has chosen to upend their roots in London, where they have lived for three years, and head to the Sunshine State because the children are not yet in preschool and the timing feels right.
As for the seventh in line to the Swedish throne and her hubby’s career plans, the royal court explained that Madeleine will continue her work with the World Childhood Foundation and O’Neill will maintain his business as a financier.
This isn’t the first time the princess and her family have lived in the U.S., however. Princess Madeleine and O’Neill lived in New York as newlyweds and even welcomed their daughter Princess Leonore there in 2014.
Represent us well, Florida.
