Sure, most brides might ask a relative or friend for a handkerchief or (if they’re lucky) a piece of jewelry. But Princess Eugenie is no regular bride (hey, Andrea Bocelli doesn’t perform for any old wedding).
So, of course, her “something borrowed” is totally fabulous—namely, a tiara from her grandmother Queen Elizabeth.
The Greville Emerald Kokoshnik tiara (because if it doesn’t have a name, is it really a tiara?) dates back to 1919 and features an enormous 93.70-carat emerald at the middle and three smaller emeralds on either side.
Sort of makes that brooch you borrowed from your mother-in-law seem kind of puny, doesn’t it? Ah, to be a royal.
