PSA: A Scottish Pony Tried to Bite Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle Enjoyed Every Second
Even Meghan Markle couldn’t contain her laughter when Prince Harry came face-to-face with an unruly horse.
When the royal couple arrived at Edinburgh Castle today, they were greeted by the Royal Regiment of Scotland’s mascot, a Shetland pony named Cruachan IV. Although the meet-cute started off OK, that all changed when the prince tried to stroke the animal for a second time and the pony responded in the most hilarious way possible.

In the clip, Prince Harry and Markle are chatting with a member of the Band of the Royal Marines as they casually pet the Shetland pony. But when the prince goes back in for another stroke, Cruachan is not having it and attempts to take a bite out of his hand. Markle promptly bursts into laughter. Royal, shmoyal. Shetland pony hair, don’t care.
Show the prince who’s boss? Mission accomplished.
