Prince George Just Met This Weird Royal Milestone, and People Have a *Lot* of Feelings
For the uninitiated (*raises hands*), a grouse is a game bird, and the first hunt appears to be a major milestone for royal family members. (Um…OK?)
According to reports from The Sun’s royal correspondent, Emily Andrews, George was out and about on Friday, with quite the entourage in tow. Joining him were Kate; Prince Charles; Prince Edward, his wife, Sophie, and their children, Louise and James; Princess Anne and her daughter Zara; and Zara's husband Mike Tindall. Whew.
Kate, William, George, Charlotte & Louis are spending this weekend at Balmoral with HM. George was taken to his first grouse shoot on Friday by Kate, with the Queen, Charles, Edward, Sophie, Louise & James, Anne, Zara & Mike Tindall joining for lunch.Quite the family fun!(2017?) pic.twitter.com/I8cj1OGCB6? FYI, the internet has a lot of feelings on the whole ordeal—we’re not surprised, either. Royal fans are dismayed at the tradition of hunting, the fact that George is only 5 years old, the use of guns…you get the picture. We’ll spare you the tweets.
To be young and royal…
