Portuguese Tiles Are Totally the New Subway Tiles
If monochromatic and minimalist aren’t your thing, then you’ll be glad to know a new tile is trending and it’s full of character and color.
Unlike the Carrara marble and subway tile kitchen and bathroom accents of 2018, the new year will be all about Portuguese tiles. They’re vibrant, they’re classic, and they’re a fun way to add warmth to any space.
Take, for instance, these Talavera accent tiles ($1) that are basically begging to become the pop of color to an otherwise bland staircase.
Wouldn’t these Klinker Alcazar Petunia wall tiles ($11) look pretty on your kitchen backsplash?
