Pippa Middleton is raising the pregnancy barre. 

From swimming to tennis, Middleton has tried more than a few pregnancy workouts. But her latest prenatal fave is none other than barre. The mom-to-be, who’s due some time in October, opened up about the benefits of fitting in a barre workout while pregnant in her most recent column for Waitrose.

As she explained, with a touch of humor, “I’ve continued to embrace barre-inspired workouts throughout pregnancy—a form of exercise taken from ballet which involves the small, isolated movements that develop flattering muscle tone—or so I hope.” (She’s got jokes and a killer style.) 

And although her form looks practically perfect to us, Middleton admitted, “I feel far from a ballerina, but I’m equally determined not to break into a penguin-style waddle and plod around with bad posture.”

Middletons: They’re just like us.
