It’s been exactly four months since we last saw Prince Louis at his christening ceremony on July 9, and we finally have a new photo of the littlest royal.
On the cover of London’s The Daily Express, Kate Middleton, 36, holds 6-month-old Louis as grandpa Prince Charles wiggles the baby’s little hand…and it seems like Charles is making good on Prince William’s wish that he be more present with the grandchildren.
The image, which was captured in September in the gardens of Clarence House, where Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, reside, is a rare glimpse of the youngest great-grandchild of the queen (and even at a profile angle, we can tell he’s getting *SO* big).
The new BBC documentary Prince, Son & Heir: Charles at 70 sheds light on the more personal side of the royal family (Louis included). Camilla even shared an anecdote of the Prince of Wales as a loving grandfather.
“He will get down on his knees and crawl about with them for hours, you know, making funny noises and laughing, and my grandchildren adore him, absolutely adore him,” the Duchess of Cornwall revealed in the documentary.
We’re just hoping proud Grandpa Charles shares more pics of the grandkids soon…
