We’ve seen glimpses of the past, present and future on This Is Us, but what if the creators were to introduce an alternate timeline…that ignores Jack’s death?

During the This Is Us after show, Milo Ventimiglia teased the possibility of an additional timeline and revealed that viewers may get to see what life would have been like if Jack didn’t die.

He said, “I think there’s an opportunity to even dream a little further forward, you know, the moments possibly that we didn’t get that we could have gotten had this man lived on a little longer than his 50-some-odd years.”

This Is Us is known for jumping around in time. Although the series mainly focuses on the Big Three as children, teens and 36-year-old adults, episode 14 introduced a new time period featuring grown-up Tess, so we can only imagine what series creator Dan Fogelman has up his sleeve.

The series returns to NBC after the Winter Olympics on February 27 at 9 p.m. Only 19 more days…
