From messy buns to peekaboo freckles, Meghan Markle’s beauty philosophy is definitely less is more. And while many brides glam it up on their wedding day, the new Duchess of Sussex definitely stayed true to her low-key vibes while walking down the aisle at St. George’s Chapel.
Allowing her opulent tiara and cathedral-length veil to bring all the bridal drama, Meg kept her wedding-day look fresh and natural. She opted for a simple up-do with loose, face-framing pieces and light dewy makeup with a subtle smoky eye and blush pink lips. Her ’do came courtesy of Serge Normant, who also works with Sarah Jessica Parker and Julia Roberts, and her makeup was flawlessly applied by Dior’s Daniel Martin, whose clients include Elisabeth Moss and Jessica Alba.
The end result? An easy-to-mimic look that works just as well in the presence of the queen as it does for happy hour.
