Here's How Meghan Markle Just Paid Tribute to Princess Diana During Her Australian Tour
She may have just announced she's going to be a mother come spring, but Meghan Markle has been paying tribute to her own mother (-in-law) during her and Prince Harry's first royal tour together. The 16-day trip honoring the Commonwealth nations of Oceania, including Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga, kicked off yesterday, and saw the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in Sydney attending multiple royal engagements.
Diana wore the earrings in 1986 during her and Prince Charles's royal tour of Canada, about a year and a half after the birth of Prince Harry. Markle, who attended a reception on October 16 hosted by the governor-general at the Admiralty House, paired the butterfly studs with an army-green Brandon Maxwell shirt dress.
From one mother to the next (and we're not sobbing profusely, you are).
