Meghan Markle is getting down to royal business now that she’s the Duchess of Sussex.
The former actress has officially been named the fourth member of the Royal Foundation, which has now been aptly renamed The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The exciting addendum was formally announced via a listing in Companies House, which details all U.K. businesses.
Officially founded to house the charitable interests of Prince William and Prince Harry, the organization grew to include Kate Middleton following her 2011 wedding to William. Kensington Palace announced that Meghan would also join the foundation’s board after her own royal wedding, although she got a major head start on the charity front before becoming a royal.
According to her official royal bio, the newly minted duchess aims to champion women’s empowerment and feminist causes in her new station.
K-Middy, William, Harry and Meg? Sounds like the royal dream team.
