Believe it or not, today marks the one-year anniversary of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement announcement. And while a lot has happened since then (marriage, titles, pregnancy), the couple’s signature PDA style hasn’t changed one bit.

On November 27, 2017, Markle and her prince posed for their official announcement pics at Kensington Palace’s Sunken Gardens. She held his hand with not one but both of her hands, coining a new form of royal PDA: the double handhold.

But it wasn’t just a one off. The double handhold would become their go-to move.

The couple continued double hand-holding across the globe and even took their unique twist on PDA to New Zealand’s Lyall Bay, where the Duchess of Sussex held the duke’s hand with both of hers while they took a stroll during their Oceania tour this fall.

Despite all that’s happened, it seems they’re still the same avid hand-holders they were before they were the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Happy anniversary, lovebirds.
