Meghan Markle’s Former Side Hustle Came in Handy *Big Time* Today
Once upon a time, before she lived in a castle and went by Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle had a surprising side hustle.
Yes, we all know the 37-year-old duchess was an actress prior to her days as a royal, but did you know she supplemented her income with calligraphy while starting out in Hollywood? (She did.)
Today, Markle got a chance to revisit her long lost side hustle during a visit to Brinsworth House, a nursing home for British entertainers run by the Royal Variety Charity. There she helped residents decorate a framed photo of the facility with paper ornaments and even signed one “Merry Christmas, Love, Meghan.” Thankfully, royal commentator Emily Nash captured a glorious pic.

In addition to her arts and crafts project, Markle also relied on her calligraphy to sign her name (just Meghan, no title) in the visitor’s book, and hot damn her penmanship is impeccable.
Anyone else suddenly feel like taking a calligraphy course?
