Meghan Markle’s Best Beauty Looks from the Royal Tour
While everyone and their (queen) mother is analyzing the 42 outfit changes the duchess made during her and Prince Harry's 16-day royal tour of Australia, Tonga, Fiji and New Zealand, we were taking a fine-tooth comb (pun most definitely intended) to the fresh-faced beauty looks the expecting mama was serving up for her (extremely regimented) post-baby-announcement vacay. Here, Meghan Markle's best beauty moments from the royal tour.
No-Makeup Makeup
By far her favorite beauty go-to, Markle’s barely there foundation and subtle eye and lip—just a hint of mascara and a dab of lip balm—made her freckles the focal point for her powwow on Bondi Beach. And it wasn’t just a pretty happenstance. Turns out, letting her freckly skin shine through is the duchess’s one request that she always asks of her makeup artists.
Get the look: Armani Luminous Silk Foundation ($64)
Subtle Smoky Eye
The duchess's secret weapon: a golden-brown smoky eye that can transition perfectly from day to night (for all those evening receptions, of course).
Get the look: MAC Shiny Pretty shadow ($21)
Dewy Glow
Call it a pregnancy glow, or call it some amazing highlighter (which probably helps mask any oily sheen that inevitably comes with running around to 76 different royal engagements throughout the tour—genius!). Whatever her method, the duchess was literally beaming during an outdoor event in Tonga.
Get the look: Laura Mercier translucent loose setting powder ($38)
Half-Up Bun
The most fashion-forward hairdo we’ve seen Markle sport since becoming a royal, the half-up half-down bun look is what the duchess opted for at the Invictus Games in Sydney.
Get the look: Mon Shampoing sublime styling serum ($46)
Messy Bun
She couldn't go 16 days without rocking her signature look—this time, at the National Kiwi Hatchery in New Zealand.
We have a royal request: Keep serving us allll the glam, your Majesty.
Get the look: Got2b Mess Mesmerizing hairspray ($7)
