You know what they say: If you can’t take the heat, ask former Great British Bake-Off host Mary Berry…oh, they don’t say that? Well, they should. The baker extraordinaire (and all-around sweetheart) has some advice for those too-hot-to-cook summer days.
Ms. Berry wants you to use your oven. Wait, what?!
We were totally surprised by her tip (we thought the stovetop was the way to go), but here’s her reasoning: “Cooking things in the oven means you’re not staying over a heat,” she tells Country Living.
Point taken, Mary (though we don’t think you sweat). When will you adopt us invite us for tea?
