Here’s What Leonardo DiCaprio Really Thinks of Working with Brad Pitt

It appears Leonardo DiCaprio has nothing but good things to say about his Once Upon a Time in Hollywood costar, Brad Pitt.

Earlier this week, DiCaprio attended the Los Angeles premiere for the Quentin Tarantino movie and revealed that it was a pleasure working with the 55-year-old actor.

“He’s not only made great choices as an actor, not only is he extremely talented, but he’s [also] incredibly easy to work with,” he told E! News. “And that’s the dynamic that I think both of us needed in this film.”

The Titanic alum, 44, went on to discuss the casting process and revealed that it took Hollywood veterans to fully understand the scope of Tarantino’s vision. “We needed to have guys that implicitly knew this town, knew this industry and knew this type of relationship of, you know, guys that are professionals but then become family,” he added.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood takes place in Los Angeles in 1969. The movie follows washed-up actor Rick Dalton (DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double, Cliff Booth (Pitt), who happens to live next door to Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie)—a victim of the Charles Manson murders.

So are DiCaprio and Pitt the dynamic duo we never knew we needed? We surely hope so. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood hits theaters on July 26.
