Lauren Conrad is new to motherhood, but she’s already nailed down a helpful trick for thriving in surviving the first year.

Conrad chatted with PureWow about her experience as a new mom and walked us through the simple mom-hack she employs to make her 7-month-old son, Liam’s, meal time much easier for her.

The lifestyle doyenne, who just partnered with Kellogg’s to launch their Cereal Café in NYC, tells PureWow exclusively, “Today I’m going to make him a bunch of food and then I just freeze it in little single-serving mason jars so I have food the whole week and I’m not breaking it out every single day to cook for him. That saves me some time.”

Conrad says she uses the Beaba baby food puree machine to whip up fresh food for Little Liam. “I started him on vegetables so he could get a taste for that before jumping into the sweet things. But we’re just doing carrots, peas and apples. I’m excited to start cooking for him, but I’m starting with the simple things because his tummy’s still brand-new,” the Little Market founder said.
