Lady Gaga got a jump start on the whole “new year, new ’do” thing and just debuted a brand-new hair color.
According to a photo posted by the 32-year-old A Star Is Born actress’s fiance, Christian Carino, Mother Monster traded out her lemon-yellow locks for iced lilac.
Just cool enough to feel in season, but just bright enough for an easy transition into spring, Gaga’s new purple ’do has potential to become a new Instagram fave.
But the color isn’t the only notable facet of her new hair style. The lilac fades out into ice blonde at the tips in an unexpected reverse ombré. The result? Unicorn inspired hair that’s actually—dare we say—kinda wearable in the real world.
Copper hair, Texas curls and now iced lilac? 2019 is going to be a big hair year. We can feel it.
