Kristen Bell says she’s getting ready for her gig as the first-ever host of the Screen Actors Guild Awards with equal parts preparation, “unending support” from Dax Shepard and a heathy dose of girl power.

The Good Place star revealed her husband of four years has been her biggest advocate as she prepares to host the SAG Awards, saying, “He doesn’t really give out pointers or advice so much as he gives out unending support, which is very nice.” Bravo, Dax!

And speaking of support, Bell says the SAG Awards will celebrate women in a special way this year: “There’s a lot of ladies involved. [We’re] really celebrating and honoring every one of the actors, but we’re letting the women take center stage and attempt to balance the conversation a little bit. This might be ladies’ night,” she offered.

The 24th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards air live at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on Sunday, January 21, on both TNT and TBS. We can’t wait to see what K-Bell and the show’s all-female presenters have in store for us.
