Kelly Clarkson Has a Christmas Special in the Works & It's Gonna Be Packed with New Music and Huge Stars

Kelly Clarkson’s holiday revelations keep coming, and this time she’s giving us a televised Christmas special.

On Thursday, the Voice coach revealed that she will be hosting a holiday extravaganza on NBC next month. Called Kelly Clarkson Presents: When Christmas Comes Around, the television event will be packed with music as well as major stars, such as Ariana Grande, Leslie Odom Jr., Melissa McCarthy and more.

“It’s official y'all!! I’m bringing the holiday spirit right to your home with my very own holiday spectacular!!!” she captioned an IG post. “‘Kelly Clarkson Presents: When Christmas Comes Around’ will air December 1st at 10PM ET/PT on @NBC—and I'm inviting some special guests to join me, too! Don't miss @ArianaGrande, @LeslieOdomJr, @BrettEldredge, Jay Leno, Amy Poehler, @MelissaMcCarthy, and MORE as we celebrate the holidays together! I can't wait for December 1st!!”

The NBC special will air over a month after Clarkson released her second Christmas album, When Christmas Comes Around..., which dropped on October 15. The 15 set tracklist included collaborations with Grande and Eldredge, so we’re definitely expecting some live renditions of those songs. (We’re also crossing our fingers for some classics.)

“People celebrate the holidays in different ways and that is the inspiration behind the original songs and the curated classics that are featured in this special,” the American Idol alum said in a press release. “No matter what your heart is feeling this holiday season, I hope that this hour brings you joy and happiness exactly where you are.”

See you on December 1, Kelly and company.
