No surprise here: Kate Middleton is a duchess who *always* dresses to impress. But for last night's annual white-tie Diplomatic Reception hosted by Queen Eliz at Buckingham Palace, she kicked things up a notch.
A vision in a glittering off-white gown, Kate made a princess-worthy entrance in a Jenny Packham floor-length number (her fave) ever-so-elegantly dusted with sequins. The finishing touch? The Cambridge Lover's Knot Tiara, a headpiece frequently worn by Princess Diana.
Is it just us or is Kate taking her role as the future queen of England very seriously as of late? She strode into the party behind her grandmother-in-law and Camilla (who were also both wearing white) all: "I was born to play this role."
Bring it, Kate.
