From playing sports in heels to schmoozing with fellow dignitaries, Kate Middleton is a woman of many talents. Middleton’s latest (surprising) pastime? She accompanies her children Prince George (5) and Princess Charlotte (3) on “spider hunts.” (Yep, like, with real spiders.)
During her first official engagement after returning from maternity leave, the Duchess of Cambridge revealed to Daily Mail correspondent Rebecca English that she regularly searches for spiders “for hours” with her eldest kids in the Kensington Palace garden.
Now, K-Middy didn’t bring this up out of the blue. In fact, she helped local schoolchildren look for bugs under rocks and make crowns from leaves at Sayers Croft Trust Forest School and Wildlife Garden on her outing, thus the confession.
Of course Kate Middleton has as much finesse bug hunting as she does rocking a ball gown. She never ceases to amaze us.
