The second royal wedding of the year, Princess Eugenie to Jack Brooksbank, is quickly approaching, but one duchess that might not be in attendance: Kate Middleton.
Quick refresher: Princess Eugenie will wed her fiance, Brooksbank, on October 12 in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle (the same place Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in May). But the Duchess of Cambridge may have to stay home, depending on whether her sister, Pippa Middleton, gives birth to her first child around the same time.
The younger Middleton sis announced she was pregnant with her first child back in early June. In a column she wrote for Waitrose Weekend magazine via Express, Pippa revealed she’s currently in her second trimester and is reportedly due some time in October, meaning Kate may have to sit this royal wedding out in order to help sister Pippa with her new baby (since the Middleton sisters are reportedly very close).
No worries, Eug. We’re sure your big day will be as star-studded as the last royal wedding (except for maybe no Oprah or George Clooney…NBD).
