Kaley Cuoco Dishes About Her New Show ‘The Flight Attendant’ and How She Copes with Watching Her Own Performance

Kaley Cuoco is spilling the deets on her all-new TV show, The Flight Attendant, and how she's balancing her many different roles.

PureWow sat down with the Big Bang Theory star to discuss everything from her latest partnership with Starbucks for their Shine from the Start campaign, which includes the release of their new Caramel Crème flavored coffee, to how she first got involved in the new series, which is based on the namesake novel by Chris Bohjalian.

“I optioned the book three years ago and thought this could be a good show and some people agreed with me,” Cuoco stated. “I still can't believe three years later that we’re shooting it. I'm an executive producer on it and I'm starring in it so there’s a lot of hats that I’m wearing for this. I’ve never done anything like this before, but now I have an amazing appreciation for everyone behind the scenes and for producing in general.”

Cuoco went on to reveal her experience as both an actress and producer in what she calls a “very eye-opening” process.

“I’m a very good compartmentalizer,” she continued. “But at first, the other producers were worried about me watching my own dailies and being able to judge it or let other people judge it in front of me. I look at it as that’s not even me and I can take the criticism. If someone says ‘Oh I don’t love that take,’ I can say ‘I don’t love it either,’ it’s not me almost. You have to be able to kind of step back and put my little producer hat on and look at it that way.”

A woman of many talents.
