Behold! Director Rian Johnson confirmed that Joseph Gordon-Levitt will make a cameo in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
During a press event in Japan over the weekend, Johnson announced that Gordon-Levitt is set to make a unique appearance in the second film of the galactic trilogy, The Last Jedi. Johnson revealed, “My very good friend, the actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who is in a movie I made called Looper, he does a cameo as a voice of an alien in the film.”
Unfortunately, Johnson didn’t confirm whether Gordon-Levitt will actually appear in the film: “It’s a very brief little thing, but it’s fun. And if you watch the movie and hear, maybe you’ll pick out Joe’s voice in the movie.” We’ll happily take any form of JGL we can get.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres December 15, 2017. Guess we’ll start prepping for a little game of Where’s Waldo Joseph?
