Sorry, Hollywood. Looks like Gwyneth Paltrow has no plans to return to acting anytime soon. However, she just might under the right circumstances.
In a recent visit to Naomi Campbell's YouTube series, No Filter with Naomi, the 48-year-old revealed that she was recently asked what it would take for her to get back into acting. “And I said I have to be f---ing the writer,” the Goop founder said. “But that's sort of it. If my husband writes something and he wants me to do it, then I'll do it.”
The Iron Man star also revealed that she’s not necessarily that comfortable in front of the camera. “I actually haven't been that comfortable being a public person or being in front of the camera even though I've done it for so long," Paltrow continued. “There's a part of me that really feels shy and doesn't feel like I'm naturally an extrovert. I started doing it so young. I went for a long time before I asked myself, like, do I like this job? Am I comfortable doing this? Do I want to be an actor?”
If you didn’t know, Paltrow’s hubby, Brad Falchuk, co-created and produced several major television shows including American Horror Story, Scream Queens, Glee, Pose and The Politician. Since Paltrow’s latest role was in the latter, we’re not surprised that she may only want to participate in Falchuk’s projects.
