Sure, we’re not keen on every early-2000s trend. (Cough, drawn-on brows, cough.) But this recently resurfaced beauty fad is making us want to break out our old Claire’s cosmetics set.

Countless celebs are giving us major Mary-Kate and Ashley vibes by bringing back frosty silver eye shadow. Everyone from Susan Kelechi Watson to Busy Philipps is rocking the “frosting” trend on the red carpet, and we can’t deny that it’s a fitting look for winter. (Did someone say Frozen?)

To achieve the “frosting” look, simply choose a sheer silver eye shadow (like L’Oréal’s pure silver) and apply to the upper eyelid. (Pro tip: The more product you use, the shinier it will appear—layer at your own discretion.)

It’s important to note, frosty eye shadow looks a tad amateurish (it’s kind of the idea) regardless of how you apply, so no major makeup expertise is necessary. No wonder it’s making a comeback.
