Nagini Revealed! Highly Anticipated ‘Fantastic Beasts' Character Is Confirmed in Final Trailer
Hot off The Daily Prophet presses: We finally have confirmation about the secret and much-rumored-about character that Marco Polo star Claudia Kim will play in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald...and we're having a Grawp-sized freakout. In the newest and final trailer for the Harry Potter spinoff series sequel (below), due out November 16, Kim is seen morphing into a giant snake as someone whispers "Nagini," which is, of course, Voldemort's snake and eventual Horcrux that ends up killing Severus Snape in Harry Potter.
Kim confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that she will, in fact, play Nagini, who, at this movie's point in time, is a member of a traveling circus and will one day be forever transformed to her snake form. “She does feel sometimes it’s not controllable,” Kim said. “She is bound to [permanently] transform at some point to a beast so she feels this pressure that the clock is ticking.”
Warner Bros. also revealed more cast portraits, which each have the character's names and respective titles (clues about the plot, perhaps?).
Whatever the case, we're just hoping we get to learn more about the mysterious Nagini in her human form.
