Emily Blunt Is On Board for a ‘Devil Wears Prada’ Sequel
20th Century Fox Film

Sure, we still have three months until author Lauren Weisberger releases the official book sequel to The Devil Wears Prada, but Emily Blunt is already on board for another hideous skirt convention film adaptation (because, duh).

In a recent interview, Blunt discussed the sequel for the beloved film and revealed she’d be ready to reprise her Jimmy Choo–wearing role of Emily Charlton. She said, “I mean if everyone wanted to do it, it would be cool... I’d be down.”

The sequel, titled When Life Gives You Lululemons, follows Emily as she relocates her no-nonsense attitude to Greenwich, Connecticut, after landing a new job as an image consultant.

Unfortunately, we don’t know if any other fan favorites—Anne Hathaway (Andrea Sachs), Meryl Streep (Miranda Priestly) and Stanley Tucci (Nigel)—will appear in the sequel. However, Blunt recently discussed her upcoming film, Mary Poppins Returns, and revealed that she and Streep thoroughly enjoy playing on-screen enemies.

“We have really set a tone that we never play characters that like each other very much,” Blunt said. “And so we are continuing with that tradition in this. I don’t know if we could ever play, like, best pals in something. It’s just not what works for Meryl and I.”

We’re fine with whatever works, Emily. The book When Life Gives You Lululemons is due out this June.
