Yassss: Dominos Pizza Now Delivers to Parks, Beaches and Sports Fields
Twenty20

Reason No. 1,347 summer is the best: eating outside. Whether it’s a glass of rosé on a waterfront patio or a hot dog at a baseball game, it isn’t fully summer until you’re consuming most of your meals in fresh air.

Clearly, Domino’s Pizza understands, which is why the company just launched a new feature that lets customers have their orders delivered to destinations like beaches, parks and other “hotspots” (meaning places without an exact street address). The purveyor of cheesy breads and handmade pan-crust pizzas announced in a press release yesterday that more than 150,000 hotspots have been added to the delivery roster so “drivers can meet customers curbside to hand off orders,” whether it be a tee-ball game, beach party or sunset concert.

Customers must place the order online or via the mobile app and select the “hotspot” option instead of entering a traditional address. Users can search for their location on a map and add specific directions for the driver during checkout.

Move over, grapes and crackers. This summer’s picnics are all about the large extra cheese.
