But fans have even more reason to get excited because it's not just a book that's coming. “I also have a new CD to go along with the book, based on its characters and situations,” Parton wrote. “I hope you enjoy the book and the songs as much as we’ve enjoyed putting it together.” According to the book cover, there will be 12 original Dolly Parton songs on the new album.

She told The Guardian in 2019 that she's probably produced around 5,000 songs during her life. “I’ve had hundreds and hundreds copyrighted and recorded, but there are so many more—boxes and trunks full of them—that I’ll go back and rework,” she said.

Based on the number of hit songs she's written, this book is bound to be good.
